Drs. Doug and Joni Kroll have been offering their healing services to Kailua and the island of Oahu since the 1980s. Dr. Doug Kroll, D.C. opened Kailua Wellness Center in 1986, coming back to his home in Kailua after graduating from Life West Chiropractic College in California. In 1989, Dr. Joni Kroll, D.Ac. joined her husband in practice, opening Kailua Acupuncture Clinic under the same roof. Mariya Gold, L.Ac. has been part of the family since 2006 and recently joined Drs. Doug and Joni Kroll as a Licensed Acupuncturist. Gordon Spencer, L.M.T., brother of Dr. Joni, has been in practice here over 20 years as a massage therapist, specializing in deep tissue massage and chronic pain management. In 2012, Drs. Jennifer Cherry, D.C. and Aren Viveiros, D.C. joined the clinic as chiropractic associates and Dr. Travis Thurston, ND also joined the clinic providing naturopathic medicine. Last but definitely not least, our center would not be what it is without our excellent front desk staff, including billings manager Ku’uipo Simmons and receptionist Mary Salazar.
